My club is the DARK PEAK MODEL AIRCRAFT CLUB. based in Glossop Derbyshire at the foot of the Pennines, we have two flying sites and a slope, we have glow engine, helicopter and electric/slope pilots. we meet on the second Tuesday evening in every month, at THE WINDY HARBOUR HOTEL. WOODHEAD RD (B6105). GLOSSOP we hold the now famous DARK PEAK MODEL AUCTION on the October meeting night anyone wishing to apply for membership can contact me by E-MAIL We are B.M.F.A. affiliated. and we enjoy a friendly relaxed camaraderie amongst our members, while adhering to a strong safety code. Help and advise is always on hand, some of our members are 30 odd years experienced, and many of our beginners have enjoy the priceless benefit of the wealth of knowledge within our club. below are some snap shots of life on the flight line |
