		GOLDEN RULE No 1 join the B.M.F.A. why? because if you CRASH YOUR MODEL and you do untold damage to buildings cars or people, your membership means your insured for £5 million, and all for 25 quid, or you can pay *www.bmfa.org/*up out of your own pocket!! FAIL THIS IDIOT TEST AT YOUR PERIL!

GOLDEN RULE No 2
join a club, if you can not join your local club then find a willing modeller with enough
experience, who will teach you to fly at an approved flying site. radio frequency is controlled by clubs, outside of the protection of responsible clubs and fling sites, you are left vulnerable to radio interference, from mobile phones or some clown playing with that transmitter he bought on a boot sale !!
DO NOT FLY ON YOUR OWN, IT IS DANGEROUS!

GOLDEN RULE No 3
make a list of ground checks that are essential to keep your model safe, structural integrity, check your horns and connections, cover every aspect of your model, by making your own list you will build your own methodical system. check TX & RX battery packs are fully charged, so that your transmitter has the power to send your signal, and your receiver has the power to receive it.
DO YOUR GROUND CHECKS BEFORE YOU TAKE OFF! NOT AFTER YOU CRASH!

GOLDEN RULE No 4

Enjoy your hobby, and help others to also enjoy it as much as possible, for when your life ends, the only thing that will matter is how happy you were in your life, and the only regrets you will have are the dreams you did not fulfil
